"Standing" Ovation

A proud dad applauds his daughter's new found skill. It won't be long before she's running around wreaking havoc.

Home improvement

Home improvements are wonderful!!!

Ryan installed this faucet all by himself late on a Friday night. I am impressed that Ryan is able to do so many things around the house without having to call in the "experts". (Other than having to call a friend in the middle of the night to borrow a pipe cutter). Ryan is getting so handy.

These are my new curtains. I am having a hard time taking a good full picture of them. But I made them all by myself. Ryan picked out the fabric and I sewed them. I have to say though that stitch witchery tape is excellent stuff. It made things a whole lot easier. I can't wait to have time to do the next set of curtains (they will match these) for the family room. If I can get a better picture then, I will replace these so you can hopefully see just how beautiful the whole room looks.

Mowing the lawn with Daddy!

Elena and Jeremy took turns with helping Daddy mow the lawn.

This is the first lawn mowing event of the season. As you can see, there are more important things in our life than the yard work!!

Happy Birthday

Jeremy loved having all of his friends together for a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. He and Gabe Beckstead both celebrated their fourth birthdays. After countless tokens and tickets, several pizzas and a couple of pitchers of soda pop, they were ready to sing and dance with Chuck E. Cheese himself (in the plush!) and then blow out the candles on the cakes. Jeremy was grateful for all of the wonderful gifts that his friends gave him. We got plenty of great reactions filled with joy and excitement.

Family Vacation: Utah

Papa couldn't wait to show off his new boat, so everyone bundled up after a week of snow to enjoy a day of sun! Ryan opted to give himself a birthday present and went climbing instead. Jeremy's Batman life preserver and Elena's shades are pretty cool though.

We drove through the San Rafael Swell instead of going up Highway 6. It took a little extra time and gas, but the scenery is well worth it. In my humble opinion, it is the prettiest stretch of interstate.
